Here’s what to know about Microsoft’s next-gen Edge hardware. 

Microsoft is showing off the new Edge in a video at CES, where it is shown off with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book.

The new Edge features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a 2160 x 1080 display with the same resolution, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, all with a weight of around 6 pounds.

The Edge is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, a 64GB memory kit, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, with a 2TB SSD storage option.

Microsoft is also introducing an improved Cortana voice assistant, a new Cortana digital assistant, and new Cortana features, including a new voice search feature and Cortana Shortcuts.

Microsoft says that Edge will launch in late January, with the Edge Book, Edge Pro, and Edge Pro Tablet all arriving later in the year.

Microsoft Edge is available now for $499 with a two-year contract.

Microsoft has yet to reveal the exact specs of the Edge hardware, but it is expected to feature the same 5.0-inch 1920 x 1440 screen, a 4GB of RAM, an 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 32GB of storage.

Microsoft also plans to release a new Surface Pro tablet later this year, and the company is expected at the Consumer Electronics Show to unveil its next generation Surface Pro.
