The update comes as a beta to HTC users.
The HTC One is the first smartphone to receive the update, which also includes support for Android 7.1.1 Nougat, an improved camera app, a new HTC Sense UI, and a number of other improvements.
HTC also says that the update is available now for the US, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

The HTC Vive headset has been updated to version 1.5.3, and HTC has also updated the software for the Vive Tracker to 1.4.2.
