Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will host a panel on “The Big Media Coup” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.t. at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The panel, titled “The New Big Media,” will cover the rise of the media empire, the “Big Media” media companies, and their influence on politics, including on the 2016 election.
Shapiro will discuss the recent revelations in The New York Times and The Washington Post about how powerful media companies have been using their media influence to buy influence and sway the 2016 presidential election.
The program will also feature former Vice President Mike Pence, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan, Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, California Governor Jerry Brown, California Representative Luis Gutiérrez, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Utah Governor Gary Herbert, and Virginia Senator Mark Warner.
